Our Retail 40 gram Protein Balls are packed on sugarcane produce trays that are plastic-free, made from reclaimed and rapidly renewable sugarcane pulp and certified home compostable. A strong, grease and water-resistant alternative to traditional plastic/polystyrene or paper produce trays. We place 9 or 18 x 40g Protein Balls on the compostable trays that are then Polyolefin shrink wrapped. Polyolefins containing TDPA is degradable by the action of sunlight, as well as been compostable. It is claimed that the polyolefins containing these additives can be reprocessed (recyclable) before degradation begins.

We do belive in sugar, so some of our Protein Balls contain flavoured sugar syrups with one energy ball having some maple syrup in it. We also have a range of no added sugar Protein Balls (besides the natural sugar in the dates) so please contact us for this option. See individual products or our Ingredients page
